The Ridiculously Hard Kick-Off To Wrestling Season


Wrestling season dives straight into the season, with no break between football and wrestling. After the football game on Saturday, wrestlers showed up to practice Monday evening expecting light drilling and maybe some time off. Coach Holman, however, and the captains of the team Will Harmon, Chase Ingram, Channing Warner, and Kaden Ercanbrack, saw it best to jump right into it and begin preparing for state wrestling. Just this last Friday the 12th at 3:00, we started 24 Squared, which is an intense workout where we had one workout every hour for 24 hours. It ended on Saturday the 13th at 3:00. The first few weeks will be learning and practicing new moves for the new guys or going back and perfecting them for the many who have wrestled for a while. The first tournament will be at Sanpete on Thursday, December 2nd followed by the Millard Ironman on the 3rd and 4th. Good luck boys and let’s have another excellent season.

06:00 – Sally Squats/Push-ups

08:00 – 50 Tire Flips

09:00 – Weighted Mile/Mile
