Juab FBLA Expands Their Business Knowledge at the Fall Leadership Conference!

Our FBLA Chapter went up north to a Fall Leadership Conference to start off the year!

There are many clubs and organizations you can join at our school, some of which are NHS, Gaming Club, Math Club, and many more. One that you may not think of, but might interest you is FBLA, or Future Business Leaders of America. If you are interested in Business, this is the perfect place. FBLA is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business. But even if you aren’t planning to go into business, that doesn’t mean you can’t join! FBLA consists of competitive events that cover several aspects, that allow you to network with other kids your age and improve a countless number of skills at local, state, and even national levels.

Over the past several years, our school has been able to take students to amazing cities to compete at the national level, such as Baltimore, Chicago, and Atlanta! To begin this FBLA year, our FBLA school chapter was about to visit the State Fall Leadership Conference. This conference consisted of amazing presentations, discussions, and lessons. From learning about finances to public speaking, there were countless meetings for everyone. On top of this, there were other kids from all over the state, “we made so many new friends,” says Macee Ercanbrack, our FBLA school chapter social media coordinator. “We have so much fun stuff planned for this year.” Our FBLA school chapter plans on bringing in many new students through fun activities and social events. If you’re interested in joining FBLA, you can talk to Mr. Olson, the chapter advisor and see what works best for you!
