Juab’s Boys Basketball Claiming Victory Against Millard

On December 14th Juab’s student pit started filling in Juab High School’s gym in anticipation for their school’s home boys basketball vs Millard High. Students came dressed up in pink to fit the game’s theme: erase the Eagles. The varsity game kicked off at 7:00 with the Juab provita presenting the flag followed by the national anthem sung by McKenzie Chappel. Everyone got hyped as the team players were introduced.

Juab High started with the lead but Millard High wasn’t going down so easily. Across the gym from Juab’s pit the Eagles had their own rambunctious student pit. Both groups of supporters competitively cheered on their team. After a particular taunt from the Eagles, Talmage Day immediately followed with a three point shot inciting Juab student’s scoreboard chant. The Eagles did catch up and stay on par with the wasps.

During half time the crowd got to experience one of the Juab provita’s skillful performances. After that Juab’s cheer team got their time to shine. The school’s SBO’s also took exactly one minute to collect as many donations for Sub-for-Santa as they could.

Going into the 3rd period, the Eagles and Wasps quickly tied themselves up. Luckily for Juab the wasps took the lead once again

At the end of fourth quarter the Eagles fought hard raising their score higher with a three point shot. They couldn’t keep up with the wasps however. After a failed attempt at another shot from the Eagles the game ended. Juab Wasps rained victorious but only by two points.
