Believing in Santa through the years

When you really think about it Santa is a little creepy. He watches you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake? I can’t believe I used to believe in Santa, knowing he sneaks into the house while I’m sleeping and eats the delicious cookies my mom makes.

I would be peacefully sleeping knowing he did this, waiting for morning to come to see what he got me. Even writing the letters and shipping them off to the north pole. Our parents made sure they checked the spelling or made sure our names were on the paper. When really they were making sure they got all the right presents for us this year.

Don’t get me wrong, everyone believed in Santa. Waking up throughout the month looking for the silly elf around the house and making sure you’re being good for a whole month because the elf was there. Santa is a legend that has gone on for generations and many kids have memories from being good all month and not being able to sleep Christmas eve waiting to unwrap presents.
