Painting the Way for Art Club
Art Club Activity Information
On Thursday, February 22 in Mrs Henry‘s art room, the art club, led by Enoch Dye, had another meeting to talk about upcoming events. Along with the discussion of future events, they also made cards for the elderly in the senior home. Enoch Dye mentioned at the first art club meeting that he hoped to bring people together and make people happier. Thursday’s meeting did just that. It was a time to relax after a long day and simply enjoy art and what it can do for people.
Simple handmade envelopes and sweet cards were made by each attending student. Now, all they ask from the art club is some new members. More information will be posted soon to discuss when upcoming meetings and activities are planned for those who would like to contribute to the arts. One of the upcoming events that the whole school and town can participate in is the Celebration of the Arts. At Juab High School, Monday, February 26th at 6:00PM, students can add their artwork into the show or simply watch the different activities that will be present, Music, Dance, and Drama will be presented in the gym.
Artwork can be found in the cafeteria. The deadline for artwork is almost over! If you have any questions, ask Mrs Henry. If you don‘t have artwork to add to the show or don‘t want to, come check out other students’ art at the celebration and support the community. Ask about the art club and see what possibilities are available to support the school and community. Meetings will be posted soon along with more information on other activities.
