Girls Basketball Beginning: Player’s Insight On The Season

As fall approaches, Juabs girls’ basketball season begins. With the constant drama and action on the court, it is constantly said to be more interesting than boys’ basketball. Sufia Khan, a lover of girls’ basketball, Basketball season is my favorite because I enjoy cheering for people I know; it is also much closer to the actual game, feeling like you are a part of the action.

Those on the girls’ basketball team are as follows: Addison Hyatt, Emmy Lovell, Lucy Richards, Ava Cuff for the seniors- Elisa Stoneman, Diusti Draper, Ash Wright, Maggie Rosenbeck, Grace Harmon, Hailee Hall, Madi Blankenagel representing the juniors- Cam Hall, Liz Garrett, Megan Finlinson, Lexi Whitakar for the sophomores- Mollie Blankenagel, Makatlee Dudley, Madi Jarrett, Presley Orton, McKinley Mithcell, Dezi Bell, Laura Henry coming in for the freshmen.

A few words from Hailee Hall and what she is looking forward to this basketball season. “I’m really looking forward to our first game against Salem Hills on Thursday! We lost a couple seniors and we have a lot of new freshmen so it will be interesting to see how we all play together now. It’s going to be a really fun season and I can’t wait for games to start!”

Make sure to support this season and wish them the best of luck!

He is a very athletic individual. Aiden has done soccer in his freshman and sophomore years, and is planning on doing tennis and volleyball for junior year. Aiden has gotten A’s since junior high, because he is a big nerd and doesn't have a life lol. Aiden is a part of NHS and is planning on joining other clubs. He once broke an AC unit with only a butter knife. This is his first year in journalism and is excited to be trained by the best editors there have ever been, Sydni and Ariel. He wants to make the newspaper the best it’s ever been by bringing new and interesting perspectives to the table. He wants to be the most decorated senior in his grade, valedictorian of his class, as well as general sterling scholar.
