The Pit Is Shaking

The high school pit. One of the biggest sensations of high school sports events. It’s always a blast cheering for the team, playing music, jumping up and down being a part of the party. It’s all fun and games until it becomes a problem. It’s not just a problem in small county’s like Juab. It’s a problem nationwide.

Juab is a 3A high school that is fairly good at sports all around. Students like participating in cheering on our team at all of our sports events, and a fun way to do that is going into The Pit. It’s fun jumping on bleachers, chanting, storming the field/court after the game is over. But it’s starting to be a problem.

Here in juab, our pit is probably beloved by many students and teachers. It’s not just a Student body section. It’s a party section. We have themes set for the different teams we are facing and you will never not be able to notice the pit. The pit is super fun because we dress up and just have fun, and being able to do that and not have to worry about whether or not something will be ok or not is so fun. Juab High School is all about supporting their team, and the pit is a great way to show school spirit, and have a good time.

Austin Peay

Austin Peay is one of the many sleep deprived sophomores at Juab High School. Austin is a part of the JHS football team. He likes to travel and play sports more than anything, but he also likes to ride ATV’s and hunt/fish. In his free time, whenever he is not on the football field, you can find him with his friends or at home just chillin.
