Popular horror movies today are all the rage, from Freddy Kruger to Hannibal Lecter, we can’t seem to stop watching them. With the new releases of Nope, Smile, and Don’t Worry Darling, everyones addicted. So, we all love a good scary story, but what do you do when the story gets a little too scary? Our horror-genre lovers of Juab High School can answer those questions. Asking Juabs very own students, we get the best solutions to facing your fears. 

What are you most excited about for Halloween? 

Kylie Black (10) : “I’m not really doing anything on Halloween night besides working, so I guess that’s what I’m most excited for.”

Haiden Black (12) : “I’m most excited about candy”

Hannah Echols (11) : “Halloween decorations” 

What’s your favorite horror movie, and which horror movie scared you the most? 

Kylie Black (10) : “My top three horror movies are Bird Box, Happy Death Day, and Lights Out. Lights Out scared me the most.”

Haiden Black (12) : “ My favorite horror movie is Insidious or The Ring.”

Hannah Echols (11) : “My fav: Scream, Scariest: Us”

What do you do to keep yourself from getting too scared?

Kylie: “I almost always watch horror movies with my buddies, and I feel like that helps all of us be less scared.”

Haiden: “I laugh through horror movies, it makes it less scary for me, but more scary for everyone else.” 

Hannah: “I watch funny videos after.”
