Tips on How to do Well on The ACT

For juniors that will be taking the ACT in March: study a lot in advance then study again and again for safe measure. Mainly study for science and math because the English and reading section of the test is somewhat common sense stuff that you should know. Here’s some little tips on each section of the test:

English and Reading: use common sense and listen to your mind.

Math: use the calculator.

Science: choose the answer you think makes the most sense.

Other than that, pay attention to the time so you don’t miss half the questions due to not bubbling.

MAKE SURE TO MARK AN ANSWER: you don’t get docked points for getting an answer wrong, so if you mark an answer you have the chance of getting it right

Don’t spend more than a minute on each question, if you finish early you can come back to them
