Movie Marathons
Being stuck in quarantine sucks. I would know because I’m in it right now, but there is light to it. The one thing that I have been doing lately, other than school work, is watching loads of movie series. Here is my top ten list of the best movies you should watch if you ever get stuck in quarantine or just in your free time.
10. The Avengers Tetralogy
Everyone loves the Avengers as it has been very popular amongst the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although, after Avengers Endgame there will sadly no longer be any Avengers movies that we know of. Maybe once you have finished these, go and watch some more Marvel movies.
9. Pirates of the Caribbean Movies
There have been many Pirates of the Caribbean movies over the past 18 years, 5 to be exact. These movies have proved to be filled with both action and adventure and comedy as well with the hilarious pirate captain Jack Sparrow. This movie series is all in all great to watch for the whole family.
8. Back To The Future Trilogy
This trilogy is a classic made back in 1985, 1989, and 1990. These have been hilarious and full of action/adventure. These movies have entertained viewers for over 30 years and are definitely family friendly.
7. The Bourne Trilogy
Another great trilogy is the Bourne trilogy. This is about a CIA assassin that after publishing the CIAs assassination programs disappeared. We find out early on that he was brainwashed but starts to remember by muscle memory. This series, of course, should be a top pick on your next to watch.
6. The Matrix Trilogy
These movies have been very popular over the past years with the most memorable part is where Neo (Keanu Reeves) dodges the bullets in bullet time. These movies are pretty great and I would highly recommend watching these.
5. Classic Indiana Jones Trilogy
This classic movie trilogy is another series coming back from the eighties. These movies are about a great archeologist and explorer that travels the world looking for hidden treasures and ancient artifacts. The first movie of the series does get gruesome but only for a little bit showing Mola Ram taking a man’s heart out, but overall is a great movie. Definitely worth watching all of them.
4. The Star Wars Prequels
Obi Wan: “It’s over Anakin, I have the high ground!” Anakin: “You underestimate my power.” I’ve heard it a billion times, by watching the movie and reenacting this scene with friends while we have lightsaber duels. This series is great and everyone should have fun watching it. These are an awesome trilogy and another great part of the whole saga.
3. The Original Star Wars Trilogy
This series takes place after the prequels but was made before them. This trilogy revolves around Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, the Resistance, and the Sith. This is really good and is very funny during some parts. Watching these should motivate you to watch the other 6 movies.
2. The Hobbit Trilogy/Lord of the Rings Trilogy
If you like fantasy movies or even just action and adventure, then these are the movies for you. This mystical tale is filled with dragons, elves, dwarves, wizards, witches, powerful rings, hobbits, and even burglar hobbits. Now just make sure you watch them in order or it won’t make any kind of sense.

X-Men trilogy.
1. The Dark Knight Trilogy
Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is a great one especially because the last movie ends with one of the biggest cliffhangers ever and you on your toes wondering what’s next. These movies don’t have time for comedy and are action-packed. Great storyline, 10/10 rating, overall great movies.
I am just about to get out of quarantine and I have watched just about every single movie on this list. I hope that if you ever get free time or are quarantined, take my advice and watch these movies.
