Juab Softball Wraps Up a Season Full of Heart and Hustle

The softball season is wrapping up, and the Juab Lady Wasps have a lot to be proud of. From cold early season practices these last few practices they have shown nothing but grit and determination.

Led by are amazing seniors – Dusti Draper, Livia Topham, Hattie Corry, Austyn Lewis, Madi Blankenagel, Bailee Benson- the team played with heart all season long. This year they have really improved on being positive and keeping the energy in the batter’s box. Being positive in the batters box has made them so much better during their games.

So far this year we have played; American Leadership, Richfield, Manti, Emery, Providence Hall, North Sanpete, Richfield, and Carbon. There is a JV tournament on April 28th and they will be playing South Summit. Are stats are:At Bats 467, Runs 113, Hits 161, Runs Batted in 93, Doubles 37, Tripeles 0, Home Runs 15, and lastly Grand Slams 0.

This year our junior Jaylee Burton hurt her ankle so she’s not playing the rest of the season. Our freshman Dalainy is playing varsity and has hit a home run! Also they have state on May 3 so go support them! Our lady wasps have improved so much this year, congrats to them!
