Juab Chess Club

The Juab chess club is a fun activity for all people of Juab; everyone is welcome. The meetings are hosted at the Haven Coffee House, and they usually have monthly meetings but have not been doing as many meetings this year. With a very busy school year, the chess club has not been as active as it usually is. However, the chess club has an amazing environment with very nice and friendly people. In order to get the chess club back up and running, someone would need to step up and take over. The Juab chess club does not play in actual chess tournaments, so all they would need to do is set dates for everyone to come play and also be there to help teach. The captain of the Juab chess club would need to prioritize the club and take it seriously and make sure they have their meetings at least once a month like before. This would be beneficial for everyone involved because more people would be encouraged to join the chess club if it was an important club at school. The chess club could be some place where everyone feels like they contribute something.
