The Candidates for Juab’s Student Body

With the new year approaching, that means the voting season has begun. Seniors leave us with only their knowledge and traditions, so it’s up to our upperclassmen to continue the planning of events and get students involved. The student body is a huge job. We may only see it as making silly morning announcement videos and announcing birthdays, but the tasks go way beyond just that. Planning event themes and getting funds for all our favorite activities is just a fraction of the many jobs that we have. The student body is an exciting opportunity for students who love to get involved and want to share their creativity with not only the school but also the community.

“Nebo on the left and red cliffs on the right, there’s no better man to set things right. Vote Jacob Rowley for president.” goes against Leyla Steiner to fight for the role of SBO president. “My name is Kamryn Whiteley, and I’m running for your SBO vice president.” And then there is Ethan Arns, who is going against her, saying, “I might be a liability in the pool, but I’m the only one who can lead this school.” Don’t forget to vote for your secretary. Kalia Harmon and Cambry Hall are going against each other for the role of secretary. “You know what they say, shooters shoot. So I’m shooting my shot as your SBO secretary.” Cambry Hall says while showing off her soccer skills. Tariyn Allred goes against Hunter Holt for assistant publicity manager, and Ethan Tuckett goes against Alex Ludlow for activities manager. Roxy Richards is running for head coach.

The candidates assembly involved speeches from each person and games to butter up the voters. Music, games, and laughter filled the gym on the 26th. Once over, the email was sent out for students to vote, as well as for point reduction. With the votes being counted, it’s only a matter of time before we get the results. Stay tuned to see who the 2025-2026 student body is.
