Supplemental Math

Juab High School students are receiving the opportunity to take Supplemental Math as a form of extra math tutoring. Any students taking Math 3 are able to take this class during 4A or 5B. There are 20 students that are currently taking advantage of this opportunity. Some of the benefits of taking this class are better grades, a higher understanding of the subject matter, and being more prepared for quizzes & tests.

As we take a peek into this class, we learn that every student taking this class has to receive an A, C, or above in math. Students are able to work on math homework in class and receive help from Mr. Tebbs. Although this class is for students to get extra help, it still runs as any class at JHS would. Attendance is taken every day, and students are given assignments to practice what they are learning. We also learn that JHS is looking into making a supplemental class for Math 2 & Math 1. Mr. Tebbs has been teaching at Juab High School for the past 5 years, with this year being the first time he has taught supplemental math. Mr. Tebbs states that supplemental math is AWESOME! Mr. Tebbs likes math and enjoys the opportunity to sit down with a student and help them with math.
