Mastering the Pitch

Juab Soccer!!! We are having high school soccer open games every Tuesday and Thursday at about 4 P.M. We also do early morning conditioning every Wednesday for only 45 minutes, and it starts at 5:15 A.M. We practice at the hive on Thursdays and Wednesday mornings. Then Thursday we go out and practice on the high school soccer fields. This is a great way to meet new people and have a fun workout. Anyone is welcome to come and see what it’s all about. With that, there are always new people coming and new people to meet. The coaches are great; they are super nice and want everyone to improve as a team and as an individual.

We usually start out with some stretches and a couple laps around the turf or the high school fields. Then we start some drills that usually go along with passing or shooting to sharpen those skills. After a couple of drills, we usually just divide up into a couple of teams and scrimmage in the hive; if we are out on the high school fields, we divide into two teams and have a full-on scrimmage. Thursdays we usually have a more fun day of messing around and doing mostly scrimmages.

This is a great way to stay in shape for your off season. If you’re not playing a sport or even if you are playing a sport and want to train more and get stronger, faster, and have better stamina for your other sport. This is a really fun way to get your stamina up so you can have more fun at other practices and not be so tired. Overall, this is a great way to have fun, hang out with your friends, and get in shape or stay in shape for that long, hard season you might have for your other sport. So come join our action while having a great time! GO WASPS!!!
