Juab Jumps in at State
J!!!! H!!!! S!!!! A solid ending to our volleyball season. It was such a party whether it was working hard out on the court or in the, hyped up, Juab pit. As our own Juab volleyball team heads to state, beginning on the 1st of November, we were able to get a dub against Juan Diego. But unfortunately we lost our next two games to Canyon View and Delta in a double-elimination.
One team member on the volleyball team, Tehga, said, “The biggest part of volleyball I loved in all my years of high school was the people. I feel like this year’s team was really connected.” This is similar to what another volleyball team member, Alyssa Hall, said: “Maybe the win was the friends we made along the way.”
It’s not just the experience that influenced the players to be into the volleyball playing style. Tehga said, “It was important to my family. My entire family has played, so I wanted to carry on the legacy.” Another member of our Juab high school volleyball team, Aiden Barney, made a similar statement about the importance to herself. “I’ve been playing too for so long. I started at a young age and have loved it ever since. It was a good atmosphere, and we were all friends.”
If you have any questions about joining the Juab high school volleyball team, talk to Mr. Morelli or Alley Gee for more information. 🙂
