Percy Jackson is Back!

Percy Jackson musical
As most everyone knows, Percy Jackson has been turned into a musical. The auditions were August 21st. The musical is based off the book and the roles were given out perfectly.
We do have three gender-bending roles. We have Luke the camp counselor who is now Lucy played by Kayee Waller, and Ares, The Goddess of War Played by McKaydie Hair, and Grover who was played by Bronson Ormond and is now played by Racheal German. Bronson Ormond is now playing Kurt Cobain. The musical features Matt Raynor as Percy, Racheal German as Grover, and Anna Peterson as Annabeth.
A total of 36 people auditioned, Mr Palmer recognized that it’s the most people we’ve had audition. Mr Morgan said he chose the Percy Jackson musical because as its his first year, no one really knew him. He wanted to pick a story that people knew. Many people are excited to see what percy jackson is like as a musical will be more popular and people would like seeing percy jackson as a musical and it’s a cool musical. The songs are mostly upbeat and themed around resilience. Holly Marchant, who plays Silena Beauregaurd, says it’s cheesy but super fun and a great experience. Keep your eyes out for the musical number when they get to the underworld; it’s apparently the best.
The cast says to bring your little siblings, they would love it. Overall it’s a great musical about the mythology and resilience of percy jackson. The performance dates are November 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. To watch the musical you need to go to the Jr High auditorium at 7 pm. Each ticket costs $10 for a non student and $5 for students. We hope to see you there!
