Last Kick-Off

Last Kick-Off: The 2024 football season comes to an end.

“Nebo on the left, Red Cliffs on the right—there’s no better place to watch football on a Friday night,” says Brother Williams every football game. There is nothing like standing in the pit (student section) dancing to our cheer songs and watching some great Juab football. Senior, Hallie Hall says, “Cheering with the pit is the best part of football season. It is so fun to feel the energy of the students, it helps push you out of your comfort zone, and the dress-ups are really funny.” All students can agree with Hallie that the atmosphere of the pit is electric when our team is playing well.

In our small community of Juab, one thing that connects us and brings us closer together is football. Our Juab football players are remarkable athletes who put everything they have into each game. Juab’s streak was 6 wins and 5 losses in the fall 2024 season. They placed 2nd in the region. We had a recent home game against Manti. Juab won 38-29 in an exciting game. We played Manti again last Friday in the quarterfinal state playoffs. It was a tough game. Juab tried their hardest but lost in their state game of the year.

Brock Richards, our running back junior on the varsity team, says, “Playing for Juab football means everything to me. It’s amazing to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Every day it’s an opportunity to push myself and my teammates to be better. The great coaches and brotherhood play a vital role in forming great young men. Juab football is something that prepares us for life, both on and off the field.”

Make sure to congratulate the football players on their spectacular season, especially the seniors this year. These athletes have put in so much work and have represented our school proudly.
