Cailyn Cunningham

Cailyn ‘Kay Kay’ Cunningham, though rarely called by her nickname, is a junior at Juab High School and a dedicated editor and writer for the Juab Clarion. Known for her keen eye for detail and commitment to covering school events and controversies, Cailyn ensures that no update goes unnoticed and that her peers are always informed about the latest happenings. Her passion for writing and editing shines through her work, even if her humor and perspective occasionally reveal her chaotic and imaginative mind. Outside of school, Cailyn indulges her creative side through painting and sketching, often transforming objects her parents give her into unique pieces of art. Her love for fantasy novels and poetry fuels her writing, even though she sometimes struggles with procrastination. She dreams of leaving her small town and hopes to secure scholarships through her contributions to the Clarion, aiming for a future in college and beyond. Cailyn’s ultimate ambition is to work for Marvel Studios, channeling her inspiration from Loki’s famous line, “I am burdened with glorious purpose.” However, she’s also prepared for the possibility of becoming an English and Literature professor if her path leads her there. Whether she’s navigating the halls with her signature RBF or over-stuffing sandwiches at Mona Subway, Cailyn’s enthusiasm for life and literature keeps her motivated as she navigates her high school journey and dreams of a larger future.
