The Spring Choir Concert Closes a Season of Singing

The amazing Choirs of Juab High has finished an amazing year. All the students have so much talent and what would be a better way to help conclude the school year then by showcasing that? So on Monday, May 15 the Choir held one more concert.

The concert began at 7 pm in the Juab Junior High auditorium. The concert choir opened with the “Star Spangled Banner.” Following that they sang “You Raise me up” with soloist Hannah Echols. At the conclusion of the song, Mrs. Rowley had all the seniors and their family stand on the stage as she recognized all of them.

Together the Musical theater and General choir sang a Hamilton melody with soloist Everett Rasmussen, Leah Thorn, Rebecca Marchant, Holly Marchant, Jaylee Christensen, and Pressley Hair. General choir sang “You Will be Found” with soloist Lilly Echols, and then “Never Enough” followed by “Jazz Cantate.” Then combined choirs with JJHs Advanced Choir performed “Down to the river to Pray.”

Following that beautiful performance, the Concert Choir came back up. Mrs. Rowley introduced them and the three trophies they had recently won. She said that she was very proud of them and the great contest season they had. Once Mrs. Rowley was done, the concert choir sang “Riversong”, “Esto Les Digo” with soloist Jaycee Westering, and “Shout of Glory!” with soloist Madison Carle.

The concert concluded with “Bridge Over Troubled Water” sung by the concert choir and JHS choir alumni. As the audience filed out, Mrs. Rowley gathered her students to take a final group photo.
