All I Want For Christmas is… an I-Phone 14 Pro Max?!

All I Want for Christmas iiiiiissssss….. the I-Phone 14 Pro Max?

“I want an Official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time!” Just like Ralphie from A Christmas Story, we all want one thing for Christmas that is unattainable, The new I-Phone 14, but instead of it shooting our eyes out, it will run our pockets dry. Is this new advanced phone worth the Christmas cheer?

An I-Phone 14 costs somewhere between eight hundred to nine hundred dollars, and I-Phone 14 Pro Max can cost up to 1,200 dollars. Now if you can convince your parents to buy it for a Christmas present, I applaud you. However if you’re like several of the other students at Juab High School, it’s a definite no from your parents. So how do you get them to agree with you? Following these simple steps, (that I used in order to convince my parents to let me get one for Christmas) you can get the latest I-Phone in no time.

Step 1: Hinting. Simply hint to your parents how your phone is getting slower or that it’s battery isn’t lasting very long, or even that it hasn’t worked right since the time you dropped it down a flight of stairs. Just remember to not be snotty about it. For example, don’t do this: “mOm mY pHoNe sUcKs! I HAVE tO gEt a NeW oNe!!!” That will get you nowhere. Simply say, “My phone hasn’t been working very well lately, I think it might be time for a new one.”

Step 2: List your Reasons. Don’t list reasons that your recent phone is terrible, list reasons why a newer phone would be better. There’s more storage space, a longer lasting battery, and they’re harder to ruin. If you drop it it shouldn’t break right away which will be helpful in the long run. Even though it’s expensive it can last me at least to college when I’m an adult and I can buy myself a new one again.

Step 3: You can pay for part of it. If you’re like several parents in America you’re going to make your child pay for some of it, so before your mom or dad forces you to pay for ALL of it, suggest that you are capable of helping with the payment but you need a little help paying for all of it. If you don’t have money as of the moment you can get a smaller part-time job and make money until you have enough.

Hopefully these steps will help you receive the best present ever, an Official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model— *clears throat* sorry about that, I meant to say… an I-Phone 14.
