Guess what?! We only have two and a half weeks of school left, and do you know what that means? SUMMER!
We all love summer and can’t wait for school to be over. With graduation looming and last-minute school work, we all just want to be done. Seniors can’t wait until they can pursue their dreams, and other students are just glad the long year is over.
I’m guessing we all have something we want or are planning to do over the summer, but if you don’t here are some fun ideas!
We need our physical exercise, and these are some fun ways to do it. One fun thing everyone loves to do in the summer is swimming. What a fun way to cool off and have fun in the water. If you don’t want to get wet, why not go on a hike, a bike ride, or get sporty with some fun outside games? If you just want to enjoy some warm weather, some fun things to do are sit in a hammock, draw with sidewalk chalk, or even have a picnic in your own backyard.
If you are more of an indoor person who’s glad that school is out, here are some fun indoor ideas to try. You can read a book, cook or bake something, or do some art. If you want to be a little bit more social, why not send a postcard to someone, call up an old friend, maybe play a board game that’s just collecting dust?
I hope these ideas will help if you have no idea what you are going to do for the summer. Summer can be fun for all types of people and students – whether you are an athletic adventurer, couch potato, or social butterfly – there’s a fun summertime activity for you!
