Vaping

Vaping is known to be many orders of magnitude less harmful than smoking. But it is not harmless. Breathing air isn’t harmless though, air contains many pollutants, but it’s at such low levels that any harm builds up so slowly as to be undetectable. Also makes you die faster.

The safety issues lie with the nicotine exposure from e-cigs, which may cause addiction and other adverse effects. Nicotine is regarded as a potentially lethal poison. Concerns exist that vaping can be harmful by exposing users to toxic levels of nicotine. But there’s other things in vaping too like Formaldehyde, Tobacco Specific Nitrosamines, Carcinogen, Benzene and Acetaldehyde.

The chemicals found in e-cigarette liquid, known as “e-juice,” may be a potential cause of popcorn lung. Using electronic cigarettes or vaping, particularly the flavored varieties, can cause popcorn lung.

The water will certainly not accumulate, or a lot of vapers would have drowned by now! A tiny amount of water is exhaled with every breath you take, and the equilibrium is maintained. You inhale less water taking a shower than you would from vaping.

Vaping while pregnant could cause craniofacial birth defects, study shows. Using e-cigarettes during pregnancy could cause birth defects of the oral cavity and face, according to a recent Virginia Commonwealth University study.

Given the harmful and toxic chemicals in cigarettes, vaping is almost certainly less dangerous to your health. But don’t be fooled into thinking that e-cigs are without risks or that you should now be able to vape to your heart’s content. Or that they’re plain healthy.
