Cross country is coming to a close so they started off the last month of the season getting ready for region. The pre region and region course was at Union’s golf course. They ran the course so they could be ready to perform better at region than they did at pre region. Based on the results from region, both Juab boys and girls got fourth and didn’t qualify for state as a team, but Juab had 2 individuals that qualified for state individually.

The top ten boys from Juab at region were: Talmage Day, Nathan Garrett, Thomas Covington, Jackson Hanks, Levi Covington, Benjamin Bishop, Reid Vernon, Kaleb Bunker, Aiden Bethers, and Alvin Yuan. For the boys team individual qualifier they had Talmage Day. The girls placers from Juab at region were: Nataya Day, Kenzee Slater, Hailee Hall, Macie Slater, and Gen Cannell. For the girls team individual qualifier they had Nataya Day. They qualified individually by making it into the top ten individuals for their race.

After region, they were the only ones that were required to go to practice to get ready for state, but it wasn’t hard long runs, the runs were short easy runs to rest up until they race at state. When it came to state the whole team was able to go and cheer them on. Based on the state results, Nataya came in fifty first place in the girls 3A race and Talmage came in fifty second place in the boys 3A race.
