Weird Thanksgiving Foods to try This Holiday Season

One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is the food. However, there are some wacky Thanksgiving inspired foods out there. So if you are looking to break traditions, try this non traditional three course Thanksgiving meal.

Starting out with your appetizer, dig into some Thanksgiving Pringles served in a TV dinner box. Flavors include: mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries, corn, green beans, Mac and cheese, and last but not least, pumpkin pie. This appetizer is perfect to warm up your taste buds for the flavors soon to come.

After stimulating your taste buds with the appetizer, you are ready for drinks. To drink, we have the Tofurky and gravy soda. This soda is vegan and vegetarian friendly, as it is made with tofu-turkey and gravy. If you aren’t feeling adventurous enough to try this creative drink, then maybe you would be more interested in some hot Dr. Pepper with lemons. This drink is exactly what it sounds like, warm Dr. Pepper with a slice of lemon. It’s a new twist on the old classic Dr. Pepper and it is said to keep all the sicknesses away as you head into the winter season.

Now that you have a beverage and a growling stomach, you are ready for the mega main dish, the Turkducken. That’s right, it’s a turkey, it’s a duck, it’s a chicken, and it’s all stuffed together with stuffing. The Turkducken is sure to leave your stomach filled, but don’t forget to leave room for the last course.

Last but not least, dessert. Toss out the pies and get ready for some Thanksgiving turkey cake. This cake consists of all the thanksgiving foods such as: turkey, cranberries, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and even sweet potatoes. This cake will bring nostalgia from the food you ate moments ago. Now if you aren’t too full from all the food frenzy, you would definitely want to finish the meal off with the centerpiece of the table, the Jell-o salad. This Jell-o salad is definitely something, it’s cranberry Jell-o with cranberry chunks served on a slice of lettuce and it’s all topped off with Mayo. If that doesn’t make your mouth water, what will?

Enjoy this exotic course filled with all the thanksgiving flavors unless if this was too weird for you, then maybe stick to the classic mash potatoes, turkey, and pumpkin pie.
